JOSEPHINE.
Josephine is from Marin. She lost her mate to a raccoon and ended up living with chickens in a chicken coop where she was lowest on the pecking order. She was visibly depressed and anxious around chickens.
Luckily the owners reached out and Josephine moved to Sonoma and now happily roams 1.5 acres with her new duck friends. She takes daily swims in one of the two duck ponds..and she shows her appreciation with a couple of quacks every time she sees me.
